We endured one of the worst storms on record back in October here on the island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea.
I set out to capture the power of the waves I experienced that day as they smashed into the man-made rocky defences.
I focussed on the light captured within the wave and its merging with the atmosphere around it using loose brushwork and a limited pallette.
