I discovered a bald eagle nest with three nestlings in Southern Missouri early last spring. Upon my return to photograph the eagles about six weeks later, I estimated this not-so-little nestling to be around 60 days old. Practically full grown, it won't be ready to leave the nest for a few more weeks. Such a majestic bird, even at this young age, don't you think?
