Ready and Waiting

I enjoy the “behind the scenes” moments at horse events. The horses are relaxed and calm and I immediate feel more grounded in my own body when I’m around them. This moment caught my eye because I loved that there were several horses all tacked up and ready to put on a show, but there were no riders in sight. The horses were just hanging out not worried about a thing. I was especially interested in challenging myself to capture the feel of worn leather on the saddle.
