This traditional Colorado Landscape features a small tree stand, definitely depicting the circle of life with a young evergreen, an old evergreen and a dead standing tree in the Holy Cross Wilderness area near Vail CO. The area became protected as a national monument in the early 1930's and is a popular destination today as well.
