Oil on gessoed board. This painting came to me in a dream along with 2 other horse paintings (including the dark pink background). Painting was done alla prima. Somebody, whom I did not recognize in the dream, was pointing out suggestions for the horse paintings. Since then, I have been sketching horses in preparation for the next 2 paintings.
