The gaze through the ages
One day in the sunny ancient city of Pergamum, I found something unique.

Like a brooding and proud cat guarding the antiquity. He was so calm, to the point of surprise, as if he was not interested in what was going on around him, but in something more sublime. Crowds of tourists were whizzing around, making a little noise. But the cat was detached. It was as if he was keeping the secrets and mysteries of a bygone era.

This place was once the library of the kingdom of Pergamon, and thus a true treasure of the city. We will never know what was really there again. But looking at this painting is a journey through the ages.
