Breath of Fresh Air

Portrating living plants as it moves with the wind and is constantly growing is what I wanted to capture with this painting. I used inks for the study plant stems and ever growing leaves. Pan pastels and soft pastels were used to emanate the light from behind emerging through the foliage and buds.
