AN HOUR TO THE LAKE

AN HOUR TO THE LAKE - The vast expanse of our Great Lakes draw a world-wide audience. Relatively few are acquainted with the intimate nooks and crannies found in the ‘local experience’. Observing this fellow hold back a bit & paddle around in place, seeming to wait for something, or someone, I was able to sketch in a quick facsimile of capturing a true character, in this Pleinair pastel. I related to his capturing a private piece of the beauty, as I quickly built my own experience. All others are mere color dot images and the gal at the dock was pure imagination. So fun!
