My Brothers Cabin

This oil painting was inspired by my brother and his wife. They very much wanted me to paint their home nestled near the High Sierras. During a visit to see them they made me promise to complete a painting for them. I took photos and picked out the one that felt the most special. This painting turned out to be one of the most enjoyable paintings I have ever done. It now remains affixed to their living room wall and I was told it was exactly what they wanted which warmed my heart and prompts me to do more of them for others. The painting was done on a double primed 18 x 24 canvas.
