In this picture, a soldier sits holding a letter in one hand and a photo of his newborn daughter in the other. In it, I endeavored to bring into the mind of the observer, the hardship and emotion of the soldier in a foreign land, separated from his beloved family.
It is drawn in graphite. A military friend kindly sat for my reference picture.
