This waterway wraps Fisherman Bay on Lopez Island, to the west and provides great painting possibilities, any time of day . . . like 5:45 a.m. this morning. When I moved to Lopez Island, there were zero houses on the distant shoreline, but now well over a dozen.
C'est la Vie! At least the deep morning shadows with trees framing many of the structures adds a sense of moody isolation at daybreak and provide a great composition to explore.
