For the "On Location Malibu" triennial exhibition of the California Art Club, I visited Malibu State Park and hiked among the trails and hills and trees, awed by the open spaces, and creek outlined by trees and grass. A peaceful place, bathed in shadows and the purity of the air. The creek streamed blue from among the oaks.
