I am often struck by the challenge of scenes like white on white or in this case green on green. The beauty of all those subtle color shifts in one section of the color wheel are so engaging if you pull them off. This is an oil on mounted canvas done in a rather loose alla prima approach with a few glazes over the top in spots and layering.
