I was inspired by several spectacular sunsets by the sea that I had witnessed on my travels, in particular one I had seen along Cape Manzamo in Okinawa, Japan.
The majestic clouds contrasted beautifully against the choppy waters and I wanted to put these elements down on paper.
As the setting sun signals the day's closure, it is also a call for the seafarers to set sail for home.
