Waterfowl hunting is a way of life on Maryland's Eastern Shore. This past Thanksgiving, my brother and I took a walk around his property and he showed me his duck blind. I loved how his decoys stowed on this little jon boat seemed to have their own personalities. The next day was beautiful weather and I had a lovely time painting this scene with the sights and sounds of the marsh all around.
