The Long Dark Night

This piece comes from this last March up in Twin Lakes Colorado... I did several sketches up at twin lakes Inn while smoking a cigar as the snow came down
and snowed me in. I sometimes stay at that Inn on off days when no one else is there and the whole little town is silent at night and so eerie yet beautiful.
This studio piece was inspired by that and in a way was a metaphor for how I view the world at this moment in time. The American flag is shrouded in dark if you look close.
