"Evening Light" was painted with acrylic on wood panel. My favorite time to paint is late in the night, when the world is quiet. At this point, I had not painted traditionally in a year or two, so I was so excited to have some time to work. I wanted to emphasize the color of evening light that shines on this figure, because it reminded me of the cool and calm evening that I spent making this painting.
